The world’s largest ceremonial waka, Ngātokimatawhaorua, resides at Waitangi, but many people know little about it. The waka was built to commemorate the centennial of the signing of Te Tiriti o Waitangi, in 1940. Now, Pou Tiaki explores the history of the magnificent vessel and the inspiration behind its intricate design.
